Shopify
Our webshop is built on Shopify. Personal data you provide is shared with Shopify for technical support purposes. Shopify does not use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is certified to the highest security standards and is a certified processor of payment data. Shopify uses SSL encryption. Your data may be processed in the United States in accordance with the EU/US Privacy Shield.

Delivery partners
Delivery partners (PostNL, DPD, DHL, UPS) receive only the data necessary to deliver your order.

Google Analytics
Maison DION uses Google Analytics to analyse website usage. Data is processed anonymously. Google may share this data with third parties if legally required to do so, or where third parties process data on Google’s behalf.

Email marketing tool
Our email marketing tool processes email addresses of newsletter subscribers. Your data is not used for any purpose other than sending newsletters.

How long we retain your data

Maison DION retains personal data no longer than strictly necessary.

Order data: in accordance with the statutory retention period of 7 years.

Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.

Google Analytics: in accordance with Google Analytics settings, by default a maximum of 26 months.

Customer profiles: for as long as you are an active customer. Following a deletion request, your data will be removed, except for data we are legally required to retain.

Cookies

Maison DION uses cookies to improve the website and analyse usage.

Functional cookies: necessary for the functioning of the webshop, such as maintaining the shopping cart and login status.

Analytical cookies: Google Analytics collects anonymised data about website usage.

Marketing cookies: placed only with your consent.

Currency cookies: we use your IP address to determine your location for currency conversion purposes. The selected currency is stored in a session cookie that is automatically removed when you close your browser.
